For many agencies of the analogue production sector digital concept development became an important discipline. This craft needs to be mastered properly for ensuring future viability of print products in the medium and long term. In case of the German communication agency specialised in employee and customer magazines the main interests was focused on mediating digital work flows from briefing to implementation, acquiring of methods and tools for concept development of digital productions, and understanding technical contexts with special emphasis on tablet and smartphone apps.
In close consultation with the clients workshop contents were defined and settings planned. The requirement was an interactive and flexible structure to spontaneously respond to the participants' needs.
